Boulder City Police Volunteer Program
Officer Paul Daly
Auxiliary Volunteer Mark Donnelly
The Boulder City Volunteer program is made up of citizens donating their time in assisting the police department in many ways. Our volunteers are non-paid and non-sworn emplyees that assist with various functions within the police department. Volunteers are utilized for special events, community service supervision, changing the flags in the city, assisting with the fleet, answering calls in dispatch, courtesy patrols, fingerprinting and handicap parking enforcement. Volunteers are provided with a uniform and training for their specific duties. Volunteers are expected to donate a minimum of 10 hours per month to the police department. If you are interested, please visit the Human Resources department at City Hall for an application. You may also contact one of the coordinators above. Thank you in advance for assisting our officers and the City of Boulder City.
Citizen's Academy Program
This program serves to educate the citizens of Boulder City on what type of training a Boulder City Police Officer goes through, and to give a better understanding of a police officer's job. We are in the process of instituting a new program. Please check back for updated information as to the dates and times of the new session.
