Linda StricklandCouncil Member Linda G. Strickland was elected to the Boulder City Council in the April 2007 Primary Election.

Linda has been a resident of Boulder City since 1998. She is a Southern California native, relocating to Boulder City from Long Beach. She has been married to her husband Tracy since 1982, and they have two sons who both attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Linda received a BA degree in Sociology in 1979 from California State University Fullerton, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1983. She was admitted to practice law in all of the courts of the State of California in 1983, admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, Central District of California in 1984, admitted to practice law in all of the courts of the State of Nevada in 1996, and admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, District of Nevada in 2003. She has been a managing partner of a law practice for over 16 years. Besides specializing in personal injury/premises and products defect defense, she also serves as an Arbitrator.

Linda enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking, and motorcycle riding. She possesses a private pilot license in single engine (land), with a tailwheel endorsement.
