Boulder City Fire Department, in 1995, made the decision to return the equipment to the traditional red color scheme. Due to the high ambient temperatures in Southern Nevada, a white crown was implemented to help reduce fading and excessive cab temperatures.

Pumpers

	2007 Pierce Quantum E-121 Funded through a Homeland Security Grant for its ability to respond on Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear and Explosive emergencies. (CBRNE) This is our newest apparatus and is our 1st out engine, manned day-to-day with 2 personnel; 1 Engineer and 1 Captain. It has a 500 gallon water tank, 1500 GPM pump, remote deck gun capable of flowing 1,000 GPM, Blitz-Fire portable monitor capable of 500 GPM, and our 3'' Big Paulie for quick knock downs of larger fires, vehicle extrication equipment, ground ladders up to 24 ft, and common firefighter forcible entry tools.
	1999 Pierce Saber E-122 The Pierce Saber is our 2nd out response engine, unmanned on day-to-day basis but will respond with call-back personnel to major events. It has a 500 gallon water tank, 1250 GPM pump, deck gun capable of flowing 1,000 GPM, our 3'' Big Paulie attack line, vehicle extrication equipment, ground ladders up to 24 ft, and common firefighter forcible entry tools.
	1983 Emergency-One Hush 55' Telesquirt T-121 The Telesquirt is our only Ladder Truck for BCFD. It has a 55' Ladder measuring from the ground to the tip. T-121 is unmanned on a day-to-day basis but will respond with call-back personnel to major events. T-121 is primarily used as an elevated water stream and is typically ineffective in normal truck operations due to its short ladder length. Normal trucks opperations dictate that the apparatus is at least at the curb and able to reach the roof of a structure and with some of the single story residences that are built extended distances from the curb the 55' ladder may be unable to reach. T-121 has a 500 gallon water tank, a 1250 GPM pump, vehicle extrication tools, ground ladders up to 24 ft, and common firefighter forcible entry tools.

  Fire/Rescue Squad

	1996 General Fire Apparatus Heavy Duty Rescue/Squad 4x4 This apparatus is a four wheel drive off-road utility/support vehicle which serves many roles in the department. This apparatus has a 500 gallon water tank and a 150 GPM pump (independent of the drive train) with foam induction, onboard air cascade system (ability to refill self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) tanks), and auto extrication equipment.
