Boulder City Police Department has a capable staff of Patrol Officers ready and able to respond to emergencies and protect Boulder City citizens. Besides the regular, full-time Patrol Officers, there are several specialized patrols that also assist citizens in helping to keep Boulder City a safe community.

Specialized Patrols:

1. Bike Patrol. Encouraging closer contact between police and citizens.
2. CCOP (Cellular Citizens on Patrol). Thirty-five members currently provide their eyes and ears for the Police Department.
3. Halloween Pumpkin Car. Provides high officer visibility on Halloween Night by passing out candy and anti-crime messages to trick-or-treaters.
4. Property Watch. Providing some peace of mind for Boulder City residents that their home is being looked after while they are out of town.
5. School Police Officer. This program has created an interaction between the Police Department and the schools that has not been available in the past.
6. Motorcycle Officers. Traffic control and public assistance via motorcycle officers.
7. K-9 Patrol. Police patrol assistance and narcotics dog.
