Councilman Matt Fox was elected to City Council in 2021. He has been a Boulder City resident since 2016.
Councilman Fox grew up in Southern California, but spent his summers in Boulder City. He had worked most of his career in the food service sales industry, where he learned how to strategically grow, retain, and manage a large territory. In recent years, Councilman Fox transitioned to the other side of the food industry to help his parents with Fox Smokehouse BBQ in Boulder City. He has used his knowledge to effectively run and grow the family business, which now includes a bakery and a second restaurant.
Councilman Fox, his wife Kelly, and their three boys, James, Jacob, and Joseph, love Boulder City's small town charm. They are dedicated to contributing to the Boulder City economy and making the community a desirable place to live.
Councilman Fox serves on the Nevada League of Cities Alternate/Legislative Committee and on the Workforce Connections Committee. His current term ends in November 2024.
