BOULDER CITY – One man was shot in the leg, another taken into police custody after an argument became violent this morning in Boulder City.

Boulder City Police were called to a hotel at 110 Ville Drive at approximately 1:00 a.m. September 22, 2020. When they arrived, they found one man suffering from non-life threatening injuries with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men from Arizona that were staying in the hotel. As the argument became more heated, one man took a gun out of his luggage and fired a warning shot. Moments later, he fired a second shot at the other man, striking him in the leg. No other injuries were reported.

Officers arrested the suspect and the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The case remains under investigation at this time. No further information is being released about the suspect or the victim.
