BOULDER CITY – Boulder City Council requested second interviews, in person, with two candidates for City Manager during a special meeting April 21, 2021. Council ranked Taylour R. B. Tedder, Assistant City Manager of City of Leavenworth, KS and Forrest H. Neuerburg, City Manager City of Monte Vista, CO as the top two candidates after interviewing five applicants via Zoom on April 14. Council also approved having background checks of Tedder and Neuerburg completed before the interviews.
Interviews will be held the week of May 10. The City plans to hold an informal event for the public to meet the candidates that week as well. The recruitment agency GovHR is working to set a schedule, which will be posted on the City website (www.bcnv.org) once available.
During the April 14 Special City Council Meeting, Council members unanimously directed staff to start working on a contract to hire Acting City Attorney Brittany L. Walker. She has been in the role since October.
Council members will discuss and provide staff direction on the hiring of a new City Clerk during the April 27, 2021 regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. Four applicants met the posted qualifications, including Acting City Clerk Tami McKay.
