Clark County School District's (CCSD) Focus on the Future For Kids: Community Input Process will unite the community to answer several questions, including:
- What do we want for our CCSD schools?
- How can we utilize upcoming federal funds to jumpstart our long-term, shared community vision for our schools?
By gathering input from a diverse set of stakeholders, CCSD "can drive our vision of the education our kids deserve and ensure public and private investments are directed where they are needed most." Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara has committed to using the input provided during this process to guide how future investments are spent, including approximately $770 million in federal funds provided through the American Rescue Plan over the next three years. Planning team partners, including the Guinn Center, Opportunity 180, and The Public Education Foundation, are donating their time to support CCSD and the community in this effort.
Help create a shared vision for our schools! Attend the upcoming community-wide session on August 2, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Smith Building, 700 Wyoming in Boulder City. Details in the flyer. Sign up at future.ccsd.net.
