Our Contractor, American Pavement Preservation (APP), started slurry sealing operations on various streets around town. Please see the attached map showing the streets highlighted that will be seal coated. These are the streets that were crack sealed last spring.
APP will be placing 5-day and 24-hour notices on the front doors of each residence on each street before they are seal coated that provides the dates the work will be performed. APP also puts out “No Parking” signs on the streets to be worked on a couple of days ahead of work with the dates the work will be performed to help insure no cars are parked on the street on the day of the work.
APP’s work hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The residents who receive a notice are requested to either park their car outside the work area for that day or leave before work begins and return after work is complete and traffic control has been removed from the area. Driving through the wet slurry seal will get the material on their car and track it onto their driveway.
