The rebates will be on a first come, first serve basis until the funds are depleted. Please submit your applications no later than 90 days after installation.
In January of 2023 the City Council of Boulder City adopted Resolution Number 7573 adopting new electrical utility rebates in Boulder City.
The city will not accept any previous rebate applications as of January 25th, 2023. The applicant must use the new application forms. They can be found below or follow the link here.
New technologies in energy efficiency warrant Boulder City to update the rebate program. This program will be looked at on a yearly basis and updated if needed according to the advancements in technology at that time.
All rebate applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation and on a first come, first served basis. Monies are limited so submit your application while rebates are available.
Rebates are available in the amount of $75 per smart controller or fifty percent off the MSRP, whichever is less for the installation of a smart thermostat. A list of qualifying thermostats can be found here.

Rebates are available for an addition of a Solar domestic water heating system to supplement electric domestic water heating (minimum 40 gallons of solar storage is required).
Rebates are available for replacing your old air conditioner with an energy efficient unit.
$100 to $200 Pool Pump
Rebates are available for the replacement of an existing pool pump with a new efficient 2 speed pump ($100 rebate) or an efficient variable-speed pump ($200 rebate).
