BCPD Volunteer Program

The Boulder City Police Department Volunteer program is made up of citizens donating their time in assisting the Police Department in many ways. Our volunteers are non-paid and non-sworn employees that assist with various functions within the Police Department. Volunteers are utilized for:

  • Neighborhood/Business Patrol
  • Vacation Home Checks
  • Emergency Call Outs
  • Handicapped Parking Enforcement
  • VIN Inspections
  • Community Events
  • Assisting Officers with Traffic Control
  • Assisting with Code Enforcement

Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteers are provided with a uniform and training for their specific duties. Volunteers are expected to donate a minimum of ten (10) hours per month to the police department.
